SUNBIRD® Repeaters

The Sunbird® dimming system includes a dimmer unit that is connected to Repeater units. The Repeater repeats the dimming signal. Repeaters can be linked together using CAT5e patch cables allowing for the dimming of unlimited lights from a single dimmer.

Repeater V3

The Repeater V3 is used in Universal Enclosure but is also available in Outdoor and Indoor DIN Rail

The Repeater V3 is rated at 15 Amps* and can be connected to 3 x 240W Drivers (66 x 10W Lights or 252 x 3w lights)

*When used in the DIN Rail casing (Indoor), the Repeater V3 can only be connected to a 10Amp load (44 x 10w or 168 x 3w lights)

Repeater V6

The Repeater V6 is used in the Modular Enclosure.

The Repeater V6 includes various protection and self-diagnostic tools including LED indicators and trip/set switches for over-temperature, over-current/voltage, and short circuits. The dimmer and repeater can be overridden by flicking a toggle switch and there is an alarm output which can be connected to a PLC to warm the operator of an issue on the system.

The V6 also includes an LED indicator on the device which dims with the lights in the house. This is handy for the operator to see that the dimming is working even if is not in inside the house.

This units offers a 30Amp output which allows for the connection of 132 x 10W and 504 x 3W lights.

The Repeater V6 is available with a DIN rail mounting option.
